At last Learndirect has arrived in Formby!
A Learndirect centre is now operating every Monday at Formby College, on the same site as Formby High School Freshfield Road Formby. So,
- Do you unwanted gaps in your education?
- Are you unable to have to travel to College in Liverpool or Southport?
- Do you want to be with adult students, based in Formby?
Your answer is simple.
Learndirect has courses in Maths, English and IT.
Literacy/Numeracy and IT Training at Formby College.
Certificates in Adult Numeracy/Literacy, up to GCSE level, working online, at the college or at home. At the end of the course, there will a short test, taken when you are ready and fully prepared. You get your results almost immediately. These are nationally recognised qualifications that will help you to get a job or go onto further courses at college or university.
Learndirect at Formby College can also offer IT courses from beginner level up to the ECDL, the European Computer Driving Licence.
Courses include:

• Surf Direct – an introduction to the Internet and e-mail
• Word processing
• Spreadsheets
• Desktop Publishing
