May and June are a great time to see butterflies. The warmer temperatures create an explosion of fluttering in our gardens, woodlands, paths and meadows. Get outside this May Half Term and follow a colourful butterfly trail around RSPB Sandwell Valley. Learn all about butterflies and caterpillars, get to know their lifecycle, what food they like, how to identify our common ones and discover what you can do at home to help butterflies this summer.
The trail is great for children of all ages with lots of fun nature activities to complete on the way.
£3 per trail. No booking required. Available every day we're open between 18 May and 9 June, Tuesdays - Sundays.
