Belfast-born producer/songwriter/bandleader KONL (Conall Mulvenna) has been making a name for himself as one of the funkiest guitarists in the country. As well as releasing his original bedroom-funk-pop music, KONL has added his distinct musical flavour to a number of artists. In these KONL and Ko. performances, KONL is the circus ringleader for some of the region’s funkiest cats. Visitors can expect revamps and covers of a wide variety of classic songs (from Beyonce to Bill Withers, from Fleetwood Mac to Frank Sinatra), injected with toxically funky rhythms that are guaranteed to get you off your seat – you might even forget that seats exist.
Langsett Dance Orchestra - Sunday 23rd June - 2pm to 4.30pm
Sheffield’s very own big band. Foot stomping, toe-tapping songs to swing your thing to. Featuring special guest vocalists, and possibly one of the biggest ensembles to perform at Leopold Square.
