A really lovely day out for the family. We popped along for the afternoon, but soon wished we’d made a day of it and brought a picnic.

I took my 9 year old daughter to this delightful event. Who knew that kites could battle? I grew up in Exmouth but my daughter and I only relocated under two years ago. Events such as these make me realise how lucky we are to live here and, as a single mother, it wasn’t out of my budget. Plenty of activities for my daughter and all the stall holders were very friendly. Shame there wasn’t an alcohol licence as there was a cute Prosecco van but they could only serve Nosecco!

It was brilliant! Loved the kite shows and particularly loved how friendly everyone was. The session when you invited all the kids (and adults) into the arena and handed out kites for them to fly was fantastic. Thank you so much for all the effort that it must have undoubtedly taken to organise this kite festival. We'll be back next year!

I came with my two girls 5 and 3. We thoroughly enjoyed the festival... they loved watching the kites , the drumming and music. The crafts were brilliant and the lady’s involved were so friendly and helpful and totally child friendly. They haven’t stopped talking about the whale and dragon kites!

What a fab time! The weather was amazing, the venue superb! Not too cramped. Lots of space around the stalls area and plenty to see and do. Lovely big flying area. The atmosphere was exciting and calming all at the same time! Can't wait till next year. See you there!

This was our first visit to the kite festival, we'll deffinately be going back. £5 entrance children free under 16. Lots of local stalls to look around promoting small business and charities. The kites themselves were fantastic and the children had a chance to be taught by the experts. Something so calming about a sky filled with kites.
