There will be a great treat for G&S fans in the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire on Saturday 18 May when 'The Wandering Minstrels' present 'THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN' at St. Peter's Church, March, Cambs at 7.30pm. Singers appearing in this Gala concert are Helen Winter, Alexandra Ferrari, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. They will sing, act and dance their way through excerpts from many of the Savoy Operas including 'The Gondoliers', 'HMS Pinafore', 'The Mikado', 'Princess Ida', 'Ruddigore', 'The Yeomen of the Guard' and 'The Pirates of Penzance'. Concert tickets are £18 (£15 for Chatteris Music Society members), while full-time students and under 16s get in free. A complimentary glass of wine will be served in the interval.
