This simple online survey is being undertaken to measure the travel choices people make, to assess the impact of the ongoing travel campaign called Ideas in Motion and to use the results to help inform future transport projects.

It is part of the Local Sustainable Transport Funding programme, is being administered by the charity Sustrans, and will close on Friday 8th February.

Sustrans aims to makes smarter travel choices possible, desirable and inevitable. It works with families, communities, policy-makers and partner organisations to help people choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys, with better places and spaces to move through and live in.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Public Protection, Waste and Transport, Councillor Tony Cox said: “We hope as many people as possible will complete this survey which only takes around ten minutes, and yet will help us devise future travel and transport plans for the benefit of everyone in the borough. It offers a great opportunity for people to make a valuable contribution to help shape their future journeys".
