During the latter half of 2007 The Best of Manchester-South carried out extensive surveys throughout South Manchester to find out who the locals feel are the best restaurants in the area. The clear winner was Jem&I restaurant.
Patron Chef Jem O'Sullivan returned to his roots to establish Jem&I European Restaurant in Didsbury Village. He retained his much coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand Award, being the only restaurant outside the city to receive this award.
Sleek Surroundings
In 2006 the European restaurant saw a new look, with a lovely gallery upstairs overlooking the kitchen and bar area. A truly romantic place to take that special someone.
