Alan put on a magic show and balloon modelling for the children at the Family Funday on Sunday 29th July at Garstang Sports and Social Club and all the mums and dads were delighted with the way he entranced the kids giving them a break from chasing them round the sports field. Alan helped us raise money on behalf of the Cancer Help Preston on the day, as people gave donations for the balloons and lots of mums and dads were keen to take his card for upcoming birthdays and events they are personally involved with. He also did a fundriasing race night at The Kings Arms in Garstang a couple of months ago the local football club and that went down very well indeed. Nice guy, very courteous, reliable professional and entertaining. Give him a call.

A truly exceptional and different experience in eating out - just what Preston needs!! Have been to DUK several times since it opened and love it! So much to choose on the menu and we try to have something different each time. The ambiance (small & Intimate) is just right and the menu suits all from veggies, meat eaters and those who their food spicy!! It is great being able to try several different dishes - we always really enjoy our visits to Mik and Andreaʼs place - get them to explain how they came about the name of DUK!! :-)

Iv been going to Scotts hairdressers since they opened and Leila has done my hair in the past on numerous occasions, when I heard she had opened her own salon I had no hesitation in booking my first appointment and have returned ever since when iʼve needed my hair doing. The staff at Scotts make you feel very welcome, Im sometimes quite a nightmare when it comes to new decisions and Leila has always given me good advice on new hair colours, i have never been dissapointed with what i have had done to my hair, i always recommend Scotts to anyone and will carry on doing so.

Fantastic hotel with the feel of a grand house. Surrounded by well-kept grass areas and trees, the wedding and function rooms are spacious and exude character. Farington Lodge comes highly recommended if you looking for a place to stay or somewhere to stage a function or meeting.

All documentation submitted was comprehensive, easy to follow & professionally presented. At every stage, Nortec worked together with us, ensuring that what was a pretty involved project did not hinder the day to day running of our business. This included Simon & his team, working nights and weekends outside our normal business hours. I was regularly kept up to date with each stage of the process and invited to discuss various options with regard to different parts of the installation. Any additional requirements we had that werenʼt covered in the initial quotation were swiftly catered for at little or no added cost. I recently ordered my wedding dress from the Glass Slipper in Chorley, I spent a number of weeks in a large number of shops and none of them compared to the glass slipper, I kept coming back and eventually found my perfect dress there. The service there is fantastic, very friendly and very helpful and most importantly very honest. After this I then ordered my four bridesmaids dresses from the glass slipper, again we had an excellent choice of dresses. We could have asked for a more friendly service, the staff put us all at ease and even made our waddle of kids feel at home whilst we tried on all the dresses. A wonderful shop that you must visit when planning a wedding.
