WORKSAFE GB LTD

Recommended as best for: knowledgeable and experienced

Welcome to WORKSAFE GB LTD

PROTECT YOUR ORGANISATION FROM THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF WORK-RELATED STRESS . Rugby based WORKSAFE GB LTD is a training organisation specialising in Workplace Stress Management and Awareness.

MORI Research last year found that 270,000 people take time off work everyday due to stress - related illness. This made stress the biggest single cause of absenteeism from work. The population of the borough of Rugby is 91,500 and so a simple scenario is the population of Rugby borough (approximately 3 times over) laying down their tools and being off work due to stress each day. So as you can see with this simple scenario, as well as the personal problems stress presents to individuals it represents a very serious economic problem for organisations. Managing stress and getting the right work/life balance pays dividends.

Managing work related stress and securing the well being of your workforce is an investment.

Benefits to your organisation of managing work related stress :

  • Increased staff moral and commitment
  • Increased productivity
  • Decreased absenteeism
  • Increased retention of staff
  • Increased customer satisfaction
  • Increased organisational reputation and profile
  • Increased number of experienced people who want to join
  • Lower Insurance Premiums

Rugby based WORKSAFE GB LTD is a training and coaching organisation committed to providing high quality, interactive workshops which provide practical advice on managing stress, showing what managers can do, to assess and prevent work related stress and so comply with Health and Safety legislation.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 gives employers a general duty of care  as far as is reasonably practical to protect the health (including mental health) of their employees at work. Health is defined in health and safety issues as the protection of the bodies and minds of people from illness resulting from processes or practices used in the workplace.

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 state that organisations have a legal duty to conduct risk assessments on their work activities to identify hazards in the workplace.

This includes steps to ensure that people do not suffer stress related illnesses as a result of their work.

All our workshops are delivered by professional trainers, experienced in delivering high quality training courses on a range of Health and Safety issues.

The workshops use powerpoint presentations with great emphasis placed on group interaction, coaching your staff in the skills of managing stress in the workplace with participation and discussion in order that the Health and Safety Executive guidelines and Management Standards can be applied to the organisations own local and particular circumstances. A comprehensive workbook and extensive handouts , including a generic stress policy and a generic stress risk assessment, are provided for use during the workshop which the delegates can also take away with them for future use.

A fee of just £80.00 (+VAT) per delegate (minimum number 2 delegates, West Midlands area).

WORKSAFE GB LTD will present a half day, delegate interactive, professional PowerPoint presentation, inclusive of a 24 page workbook and extensive handouts, on your site, coaching your staff on managing stress within the workplace. For organisations who book a workshop of 5 or more delegates an additional delegate will be included free of charge.
