London and the Home Counties' very own spectacular medieval festival, recreating the lives and times of those who took part in the dramatic C15th Wars of the Roses and the decisive Battle of Barnet fought in 1471 between King Edward IV and Warwick the Kingmaker.

Please note that due to extremely wet ground conditions, we regret to announce that the festival has been postponed and will now not be going ahead on 8-9 June. However, we hope to reschedule for later in the summer so please visit www.barnetmedievalfestival.org for updates and further information.

The festival features 200+ performers and participants, armoured knights on horseback, foot soildiers, battle re-enactments and skills-at-arms, cannon foiring and archery, entertainments, music and dance, living history encampments, cookery, craft demonstrations, medieval market and community stalls, food and drink (including bars), plus "Meet the Artist", booksignings and an exhibition of medieval paintings by renowned artist and author Graham Turner. A full, fabulous day out for everyone!

Parking is limited so please cycle or walk to the festival. Nearest tube is High Barnet (28 minutes walk). Bus routes nearby. Drivers may wish to note that the festival is just inside the ULEZ zone.
