Fresh Produce in Barrow and Furness
Ulverston Market Hall and Street Market is a great place to get your fresh produce. The Market Hall has a local deli, bakers and fabulous greengrocer who sell the freshest produce at very reasonable prices. It's the perfect place to buy your fresh fruit and veg, bread and cheese.
Unfortunately, I did not find much of interest here. It reminded me of the shopping arcades my mother used to take me to in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I believe it would be beneficial to modernize this location to make it more appealing to a wider range of visitors.

You'll find a wonderful selection of fresh produce on Barrow Market. Everything from fresh and cooked meats, fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and delicious cakes, dairy produce and fresh free range eggs.
