The first networking event for thebestof Abingdon took place at the Four Pillars Hotel last night. 25 businesses were represented there and a quick burst of speed networking ensured that everyone met everyone else by the end of the evening! The guest speaker was John Basinger from Business Fit Club, who gave an excellent talk on "The Barriers to Success in Business - and how to overcome them". Business Fit Club will be doing a series of workshops in the Abingdon area shortly.
Congratulations to Darren from Dazbus, Dan from Heelas Heating and Renewables and Graham from Inca Accounting, all who won a Best Business certificate for the excellent customer testimonial banks that they have built up with thebestof Abingdon.
Many thanks to the Newbury Building Society, who kindly donated the raffle prize, which was won by Dan from Heelas - so a very good night for him!
