Last night saw the launch of the new Abingdon Chamber of Commerce ‘Business and Shoppers Guide’ website at the Nags Head in Abingdon. Thankfully the weather was dry and warm and everyone enjoyed meeting up for a drink.
The new website shows a very different approach to finding out what is where in the town centre, with an interactive plan of the central roads and the shops and businesses based there. All the details of the shops are displayed individually when the plot within the plan is clicked on, with a picture also displaying for those who are members of the Chamber. Businesses that are not within the centre have their own listing.
Hopefully this will be yet another good tool in the drive being shown by several organisations now to promote the excellence that Abingdon has to offer.
