Grechetto Colli Martani 2012 is a delicious Italian white wine produced from selected Grechetto grapes in the Torrececcona di Todi region of Italy.
To the eye first impressions are great - the wine is a lovely straw yellow color with pleasant green accents.
On the nose the wine offers rich and fruity aromas with floral overtones. On drinking we discover this wine offers rich mineral flavors, slight salty to the taste, with a round body and plenty of length.
This wine is ideal as an aperitif and for pasta and rice dishes without tomato sauce, fish, white meats and fresh cheeses and should be served well chilled.
To taste this and other excellent wines, why not visit Added Ingredients at 16 Stert Street, Abingdon.
On Thursday 27 March they are also holding a special Italian Supper Evening from 7.30 which will feature this wine. Call Added Ingredients on 01235 537405 to book.
This wine is priced at £12.00 per bottle but 5% discount is available if this blog is mentioned at the time of purchase.
