PRESS RELEASE FROM OXFORDSHIRE LEP
The Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) has a further £400,000 Growing Places Fund available. OxLEP is inviting bids that support projects that facilitate sustainable economic growth and to act as a catalyst for proposals that enable investment into the creation of new private sector jobs.
The Growing Places Fund is a national fund established to help further foster and accelerate economic growth and job creation in the local economy.
Following the successful awards of funds through Rounds 1 and 2, OxLEP is now launching Round 3 and is encouraging applications from the private, public and voluntary sectors. Successful applicants will be offered a repayable loan to fund capital investment which, for private sector led projects will be up to 50% of the total project costs.
Ian Wenman, Vice Chair of OxLEP said, ‘OxLEP is very pleased to be able to launch Round 3 of the Oxfordshire Growing Places Fund initiative. We have already used the Fund to kick start projects and we look forward to receiving additional bids from local businesses and organisations keen to grow and contribute to Oxfordshire’s thriving economy’.
The application form, prospectus and guidance can be found here.
