After weeks of uncertainty over where they will be playing next season, Barnet FC has announced that they will definitely play a last farewell season at Underhill next year.

Barnet confirmed this to the Football League whilst they make preparations for their permanent relocation.

It will bring to an end a long association for the League 2 club with Underhill where they have played for the last 105 years since they located there in 1907.

As part of the arrangements Barnet will move their offices from the cabins at Underhill to their training ground, the Hive, in Edgware effectively making The Hive the new home for The Bees.

Commenting on the plans, Chairman, Tony Kleanthous said "There is an air about the place that I have not felt for over five years with everybody looking up and planning forward.

For confidentiality reasons we have been unable to report on all the discussions taking place in the background but, rest assured, there is much activity off the field at the moment. As always, our supporters will be the first to know once the club is able to announce any future plans.”
