Saracens played host to more than 30 local business people from the borough of Barnet this morning at Allianz Park Stadium as they launched the Saracens Business Club.
Saracens Group Sales Manager Federico Bertilotti organised the event in partnership with Michael Lassman Chairman of North London FSB (Federation of Small Businesses). Federico set the scene explaining how this would be the first in a series of events providing a growing number of local businesses opportunities to network at Saracens splendid facilities and build connections with the local business community.
Former player Hugh Vyvyan told the story of Saracens success - establishing roots in the heart of the borough in the impressive Allianz Park, reaching the Heineken Cup Final and leading the Premiership, building close links with local schools who make regular use of the Stadium, creating Saracens franchises in developing rugby nations around the world, the building of the Stadium and the artificial pitch, how Saracens supports the development of the players on and off the field and how all the staff get involved with initiatives to support the community.
Federico and Hugh then took the group on a tour of the facilities showing off the excellent meeting and hospitality areas, the boxes, the training area which was used by the Olympic athletes, the view from the large East Stand and finished with a walk around the pitch as the players came out for a training session.
