Google Juice Bar TODAY in Braunton
Today Google reveals that Braunton has been crowned Britain's top ‘digital trailblazer’ - the fastest growing village for online business in the country. The award recognises local business taking advantage of the internet over the last year.
To celebrate the announcement, Google visits Braunton at the Vivian Moon Learning Centre in Braunton from 10.30 to 3.30 TODAY to meet small business owners and MP, Nick Harvey. The company will also host a ‘Juice Bar’ to offer more local business owners free advice on how to make the most of the internet and grow a business online.
Google has seen Britain’s rural areas beginning to bloom digitally over recent times, and is recognising villages that are using the Internet to thrive online, despite not having immediate access to large city amenities and services.
