Up to 36 members of the community from ages 9 to 100 years old are invited to take part in two small sections of the performance.
Section 1: Mr X, requires the participation of up to 18 young dancers aged 9-13 years. You must be able to commit to two free workshops with Lila Dance Company to prepare the performance material which will be physical theatre based. These will be held on Monday 3rd April from 10am – 2pm in the Sports Hall, and Tuesday 4th April from 10am – 2pm in the Isaac Hall, both at Braunton Academy.
Section 2: Bag Section, requires the participation of up to 15 members of the community aged 14 years to 100 years. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! Free workshops to prepare performance material for the Bag Section will be held on Monday 3rd April from 5:30pm – 8:30pm in the Sports Hall, and Tuesday 4th April 5:30pm – 8:30pm in the Isaac Hall, both at Braunton Academy. You must be able to commit to both of these workshops to be involved.
On the performance day of April 8th, participants from BOTH sections will need to be at rehearsals in the Isaac Hall from 4pm until the performance at 7pm – 8pm.
Sign up to take part by March 10th. Limited spaces available, book early to avoid disappointment.
