To recognise all those amazingly creative people who are concocting tasty products on local farms and in cottage industries across North Devon, a new award has been introduced to celebrate the area's Best Food or Drink Producer.
There is also a fabulous new category of Best Family Eatery, awarded to a restaurant offering quality food served in a family-friendly environment, with dishes to suit a variety of tastes, appetites and pockets.
Other food and drink categories include Best Cafe, Best Pub, Best Local Food Retailer, Best Takeaway and Best Restaurant.
Plus, there's a Super Service award, chosen by public vote from the final shortlist.
And if you offer a thrilling cultural, outdoor or sporting activity then don't miss the opportunity to enter the new Best Tourism Activity or Sport Award. The Journal wants to hear from organisations offering water sports, outdoor pursuits and the arts.
There are two other new tourism awards too. Best North Devon Holiday will be awarded to a holiday park, camping site, glam-ping destination or to self-catering accommodation that maximises its distinctive appeal to offer a memorable holiday to those discovering the beauty of the region.
While Best Garden and/or Country House will go to a country house or garden that highlights the regions history, culture and natural beauty.
Other categories are Best Hotel and Best Visitor Attraction.
This year, entrants are asked to nominate themselves rather than relying on someone to nominate them.
If you want to enter, simply visit: www.northdevonjournal.co.uk/foodtourism16.
The closing date for entries to the Food, Drink and Tourism Awards is Friday, July 29.
