The 2017's Mayors Spring Ball was a riproaring success, the evenings fundraising was a tremendous success and monies amassed from Auction, Raffle and donations, together with ticket sales raised in the region of £2,000 which will be donated to her Mayoral Charities for 2016/2017, Barnstaple Dementia Alliance Support Group, ChemoHero, Honey’s Bravery Bags and the North Devon Hospice.
Mayor of Barnstaple, Cllr Julie Hunt said ‘I am grateful to each individual, business and organisation who helped make the event such a wonderful success for very worthy local causes. I think this sum reflects just how much every one enjoyed the evening. The money raised on the night together, with other funds raised throughout the past year will be presented to my charities in May at the Mayor Making Ceremony.
