On a clear night, the sky explodes with colours cascading downward. Children's faces light up and everything seems magical and for most people it is.
However, for an unfortunate few, fireworks have ruined everything. They have suffered horrific burns and it can be anytime either before or after firework night.
Fireworks handled after they have exploded can still contain gunpowder and other chemicals that when moved can re-ignite, so safety should always be your top priority.
These are the golden rules to follow when handling fireworks:
