I was curious about dance but not at all confident. I didn't need to worry, Karen and Steve are patient, warm and fun teachers. They obviously love what they do and teach with heart and soul.

I attended this dance school for 4 years and had the best time. I made new friends, learn't a variety of dances and was even considered good enough to take my exams. The school is friendly and informal and you are listened to. They provide a variety of dance lessons from Ballroom, Rock and Roll and Hip Hop, meaning this school caters for a huge variety of the public. Karen and Steve travel around North Devon meaning they reach people who live in small, rural communities which many companies do not do. Everyone is welcome and no-one is turned away. Unfortunately i had to move away for work purposes and i have never been able to find a dance school like Project Dance. I really miss my dancing days. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

We've just returned from our fifth dance lesson with Karen and Steve and are having a great time! We had no experience a few weeks ago and already we can do a social foxtrot, cha cha and square tango. They have both been patient with us and they really know their stuff. My mum has just joined our dance class - it really is for everyone :)

We were very impressed with Karen and Steve who are two very keen young people who are committed to teaching the skills of dance. The evening went far too quickly and we will definitely remain regular attendees of their class. Highly recommended.

I have just done my first ballroom and Latin class and felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the great teachers Karen and Steve even if we had to go over it again and again. All abilities are catered for. Can't wait for next week.

We held a folk evening with German teachers at Portmore and were well looked after from the outset. A very welcoming team, accommodating to our needs and a great night had by all. Spotlessly clean with excellent evening buffet. A great venue space and room for all kinds of events. Highly recommended. Thanks to the Portmore team!

Karen and Steve are amazing dance teachers. No one is too old/ young /left footed for them to take us on and show us how to have fun learning in a friendly, welcoming environment. I am learning tap - a childhood dream- but they offer nearly every kind of dance you could be interested in. You can work your way through the examination levels and perform in shows if you wish or just go along for the joy of it like me . I cannot recommend them too highly.

Very friendly Golf Club with very welcoming staff. The Club Professional is fantastic. I have attended all the Golf Clubs in this area and Portmore is by far the friendliest. Helen behind the bar is especially brilliant!
