St Mary’s Hospice provides free comfort and care for people with life –shortening or long term conditions and support for their families, either at the Hospice or at home. They support people from the moment of diagnosis and their families for longer.
Though all our care and services are free of charge to the community, they are not free to provide and that’s where they rely on our wonderful community to help.
It costs over £2.6m per year to run St Mary’s Hospice and their services. Less than 20% of our funding is provided by the NHS, meaning that they rely on donations and income generating activities to cover the rest.
There are many quick and easy ways to help St Mary’s Hospice as an individual, group or company and they need your continued support in the year ahead. Here are just a few ideas of how you can support St Mary’s:
Whatever you can do it is very much appreciated. St Mary’s Hospice simply wouldn’t be able to continue their essential work and help the people that need it most without your support.
