You will find just what you expect in a small town market hall, a nice selection of stalls with friendly stall holders to chat with.
Just outside you will find an Estate gent/ café an unusual blend but we enjoyed a light lunch there that was excellent value and very nice.

This is an old fashioned traditional market hall with a mixture of stalls (kitchenware/ironmongery, DIY, tools, wool, haberdashery, second-hand books, clothes) and a “local’s” cafe. We just had a quick walk around to get out of the rain!

A VERY useful asset to Ulverston….. I frequently use the market hall - for DIY tools, haberdashery, wool, the cheese stall, the bakery stall, vegetable stall ….. & much more
