Nice little under cover market hall, stalls selling a variety of goods. Not many of these around unless you come to places like ulverston etc. Had a walk around the town then found a nice pub on the hill The Farmers, what a lovely pub, friendly staff and I was really impressed with the ladies toilets not many little pubs have amazing toilets but this got my 5 star review. Well done Ulverston.

Dont miss Blackledges and the bakery stall. The lady on the sweet stall is lovely, as is the pet food stall and the guy with the collectables. It's well worth a visit.

Ulverston is one of our favourite
Places to visit when on holiday in the lake District. We always spend some time in the Market Hall & enjoy the experience of being sheltered if raining. However for the very first time( due to Covid restrictions) we found it upsetting to see that many stalls were covered up.Not the traders fault, purely a safety issue. The stalls that were open were ran by friendly owners as usual and we do hope that it gets back to it's full strength asap.๐Ÿ‘

Plenty to explore. Nice traditional market. A couple of the stall holders seemed disinterested but most were very welcoming.

Around Ulverston there are lots of signs encouraging people to shop local. One of the best ways to do this is at the Market Hall where there are a number of stalls selling local produce.

It's in the town centre and just a quick walk from Coronation Hall.

Certainly worth seeking out the Market Hall in the centre of Ulverston if visiting the area. A wide variety of different stalls, there would seem to be something for almost everyone. Whilst not being the biggest of markets, the hall itself is eye-catching and inviting.
