Parks and Gardens in Barrow and Furness
Ford Park
Ford Park is a nine-acre green space with open fields, mature gardens and woodland, just a short stroll from Ulverston town centre. The park has it's own kitchen garden, plant nursery, a natural playground that features a zip wire, climbing stilts and swings and lots of open space for the kids to run around safely in too.

Great place to visit. Extend your walk up to the Hoad if you have time on your hands. We liked the animal prints and information. We visited for a fun run and it got quite muddy. Lots to do though and a cafe. Finish off with a nice walk round Ulverston

Playground: Great for the kids

Toilets: Inside the cafe but should be more.

Dog-friendliness: Great dog walking spot

Picnic area: Loads of room for picnics
