Any trip to Barrow Market Hall is a wonderful experience, there’s always a fantastic variety of stalls to browse, with new stalls popping up on a regular basis offering something new and different with items that you won’t find anywhere else in town.

One of the latest additions to Barrow Market is Collector’s Corner.

It’s a real treasure trove, packed full of highly collectible items, from trading cards to action figures, posters and movie memorabilia to comics and Funko Pops – even wood carved African masks – this stall has to be seen to be believed!

As a collector myself, this stall was already on my radar, so I couldn’t wait to pay it a visit and see for myself the range and quality of items for sale.

The owner Darren has been an avid collector for many years and through his love of collecting decided to turn his passion into a business venture and took the decision to open a stall in the award winning Barrow Market Hall.

It’s a decision that’s paid off well, and that’s down to the range and quality of items Darren has on his stall. Everything here is in fantastic condition – whether the items are boxed (and trust me the condition of the packaging is extremely important when it comes to collecting) or whether the items are loose, such as trading cards or wrestling figures.

Whether you’re new to collecting or a seasoned collector looking to add top quality sought after items to your growing collection there’s something for everyone here with prices to suit all budgets – from Pokemon cards at £1 to Wooden Carved African figures and masks at £180 there’s an incredible assortment to suit all tastes

If there’s a particular item you’re after that isn’t on the stall then speak to Darren. Quite often he can look into sourcing it for you if you’re having difficulty doing so yourself.

Collector’s Corner also sells quality collectibles on behalf of other people too, so if you have an item or items that you’re thinking of selling then call by and have a chat with Darren and he may be able to display it on his stall.

Fellow stall holders have made Darren feel really welcome and he loves the atmosphere in the market too. A great start to what I hope is a really successful addition to Barrow Market.
