As unbelievable as it sounds Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone turns 20 years old this year!
I know I couldn’t believe it either! But rather than dwell on how quickly the years are flying by, Barrow Library are holding a fantastic event to mark the occasion.
To celebrate everybody’s favourite boy wizard , Barrow Library is delighted to announce a deadly, exciting and hilarious night of magical murder mystery.
Premiere Murder Mystery Event Company - ‘Highly Suspect’ will be performing at the library on Saturday 4th February at 7pm and tickets have gone on sale today.
The evening’s mystery has been written by a professional scriptwriter, and will provide a unique evening of entertainment that you will find nowhere else, it also casts some of the most well recognized and professional actors and actresses in the county.
Ruth Prosser, Community Services Manager for Barrow said;
‘This is another example of how Barrow Library responds to its customers. We have been inundated by people asking for more murder mystery nights and more Harry Potter events and this event has it all. Barrow Library is at the heart of our community and cares about providing quality events for all.’

When headmaster Grumbledum is found dead having been seemingly sawn in half everyone must unite to find the magical murderer before the mysterious nether-vault opens, releasing an ancient evil that could destroy the school forever!’
