Every year The LDF Armstrong Family Charitable Fund hold a series of evenings giving you the chance to enjoy fine dining cooked and prepared by some of the very best chefs in the country. These events are something truly special.
All proceeds from ticket sales go back into the Furness community, helping individuals and families in need, as well as a host of charities and volunteer groups too. Thanks to ticket sales and peoples generosity in the auctions and raffles held during the evenings, last year’s event raised an incredible £47,000.
This year sees the Celebrity Chefs Event take place over two weekends in February.
The first weekend (Friday 9th & Saturday 10th) will be hosted at Clarence House Hotel in Dalton, with the second (Friday 16th & Saturday 17th) being held at Abbey House Hotel.
Nine celebrity chefs will be cooking at this year’s event to create something truly memorable.
Night One will feature London’s Harrods and Hilton chef Jeff Galvey, Britain’s youngest 2 Michelin Star holder Tom Aikens and experimental chef Phil Howard.
Night Two will be headlined by T.V. favourite Angela Hartnett MBE
Night Three sees Cartmel’s very own Simon Rogan and The Ledbury’s Brett Graham (holder of 3 Michelin Stars) take centre stage.
And Night Four has Clare Smyth who is the first female chef to hold and retain 3 Michelin Stars. Alongside her will be Gordon Ramsey Restaurant Team Leader Matt Abe as well as esteemed London chef and LDF newcomer Adam Byatt.
