It’s always a hectic time over Christmas and all the eating drinking and making merry generates an incredible amount of rubbish. So it’s always a good idea to know when your wheelie bins are due to be collected.
Here’s your collection dates (and some other useful information) for Christmas and New Year refuse and recycling collections.
Week Commencing 18th December
All collections will be on the normal day.
Final green waste collection until week commencing Mon 8th January.
Week commencing 25th December

Green waste collections resume.
Please remember that foil/metallic types of wrapping paper cannot be recycled – please put this in the waste bins for disposal. Any extra waste should be bagged up and left next to your bin and this will be taken at the same time as your bin collection.
Disposing of real Christmas trees.
For residents not on the Green Waste Collection Scheme your real trees can be put out with your black bins and they will be taken by refuse collectors.
For those residents who are on the Green Waste Collection Scheme, real trees should be put out on the date of their next scheduled collection.
