Christmas is just around the corner, and although it can be a wonderful time of the year it can also be a very worrying and stressful time of the year for lots of people.
The cost of living crisis is showing no sign of slowing down and costs are going up every day – meaning that just the thought of Christmas – and making it special, can make you feel anxious.
If you’re concerned about how to make Christmas magical for your little ones this year, then this wonderful event at St. Paul’s Junior School can help.
On the 25th November, St. Paul’s School Hall in Barrow will be the venue for a Free Toy Shop!
The event takes place between 10.30am – 12.30pm and is open to everyone.
You can come along and fill up a bag with toys, books, puzzles, wrapping paper, gift tags and much, much more. All items will be set up on tables and are all completely free.
It’s a brilliant idea, it helps reduce waste and supports local families at Christmas time.
If you’d like to donate to this amazing event then you can drop donations of toys, books, board games, puzzles, fancy dress, gift sets, bikes and scooters at St. Paul’s Junior School on Friday 24th between 6.45pm – 8pm (Please note that you can’t drop donations off before this date and time).
So head over to St. Paul’s School Hall this Saturday between 10.30 – 12.30pm, help yourself, and make it a Christmas that your little ones will never forget!
