The Furness Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses is hosting its fifth annual Question Time Event at Abbey house Hotel on Thursday 17th May at 5.30pm.
Fully booked last year, this event is fast becoming one of, if not the most popular events in the local business calendar. So, with places limited, it is important to book your place as soon as you can – see below for details.
FSB Area Lead, Suzanne Edgley says "I am looking forward to hosting this popular event this year and introducing our panel of local prominent business people who have agreed to participate. We will, as in previous years, be following the BBC Question Time format, where questions are put to the panel by our audience."
This year, the panel, that will be chaired by Paul Foster, Regional Development Manager of the FSB, and comprises:
> John Woodcock – MP for Barrow and Furness
> Dave Pidduck- Leader of Barrow Borough Council
> Nicola Cassley – Managing Director of Cumbria Training Centre Ltd
> Gill Haigh – Managing Director of Cumbria Tourism
> Stuart Klosinski – FEDF Project Manager
> John Horton – General Manager of Abbey House Hotel
Mrs Edgley continues: “This is the 5th annual FSB Question Time event and in past years audiences and panels have enjoyed an entertaining and informative evening. We are inviting businesses to submit questions for the panel and are looking forward to a 'lively' event, so why not come along and join us?”
The evening starts at 5.30pm with a chance to network, with the Question Time event commencing at 6pm and running through until 7.45pm. As with all FSB Furness Branch events, entry is FREE and is open to both FSB members and non members. With bookings already coming in thick and fast it is recommended that you reserve your place as soon as possible via Eventbrite https://furnessquestiontime.eventbrite.com/?aff=Organiser or by contacting Suzanne direct on 07762184156
