Kids will have a fangtastic time when they visit Barrow Market Hall on Saturday 26th October. To embrace the spirit of Halloween , the market has plenty of fiendishly great activities planned – something for your little devils to sink their teeth into!
The fun starts at 11.30am at the Portland Walk entrance where Dracula Mouse will be on hand to entertain the kids and there’ll also be the chance to get glitter tattoos too.
Two tables will be set up, one selling sweet hampers, the other a registration table for two frighteningly good competitions taking place on the day.
This year the market will be holding a Halloween fancy dress competition at 11.30am where the boy and girl with the best costumes will win a sweet bouquet.
There’s also a pumpkin competition too. Bring your carved creations into the market and take part! All pumpkins will be displayed on stalls 29, 65 and 91 and children of all ages can take part this competition has 3 different age categories: age 6 and under, 7-11 years old and 12 and above. But please note that only battery tea lights can be used in the pumpkins – no real flames please!)
Stall holders will be getting into the spirit throughout the day too, with plenty of Halloween themed goodies and treats to tempt you!
