Christmas is a magical time of the year, it’s a time for caring and sharing, but most of all it’s a time for family and spending time with the ones we love.
But Christmas can also be an emotional time for people who are missing a cherished loved one or friend.
The St Mary’s Hospice Light up a Life campaign offers people the chance to dedicate a light and complete a star for the hospice tree in memory of special people who have graced their lives, as well as celebrating the family and friends who continue to play a big part in their lives too.
The events are open to anyone, not just people whose loved one was cared for by the hospice.
This year St. Mary’s Hospice is holding 3 Light up a Life services on the following dates:
Sunday 4th December, 4.30pm
St. Mary’s RC Church, Victoria Road Ulverston
Wednesday 7th December, 6.30pm
Furness Academy, Park Drive, Barrow In Furness
Sunday 11th December, 3.30pm
Cartmel Priory, Priest Lane, Cartmel.
