Now in its twelfth year, Love Your Local Market is back for 2023 with the theme ‘Celebrate with your Local Market”.
The main purpose of Love Your Local Market is to raise the profile of markets across the UK, encourage start-up businesses and increase young people’s involvement in markets.
Barrow Market Hall is ready to celebrate in style. It's already an exciting time for the market as it's due to be transformed as part of a £17.5m town centre revamp funded by the government's Levelling Up scheme.
Love Your Local Market Fortnight is the perfect opportunity to show your love for the Market Hall and join in the celebrations!!
The Market Hall team have been busy putting up the bunting and making sure that there are plenty of events and entertainment for you to enjoy so you can get involved too.
There will be a variety of local schools choirs performing as well as a visit from CAST and the superb Barrow Male Voice Choir throughout the campaign which runs from Friday 12th – Saturday 27th May) and visitors to the market are encouraged to post photos and comments on the Barrow Market Hall Facebook page as well as their own personal Facebook page using the hashtag #LYLM2023
Barrow Market is close to the hearts of many local people; so let’s celebrate everything that makes our market special.
