Let me take you back in time to when Frank’s Roundabout was at the entrance to Barrow Market….
If you loved it as a child, you’ll also remember the sweet smell of candy floss.
Well it turns out that the lovely lady who had the candy floss stall all those years ago, was Lynne from Lynne’s Menswear.
Having left the market to look after her family, Lynne returned almost 4 years ago with a great range of men’s wear and her new stall has been a huge success.
One of Lynne’s most popular lines is a range of men’s pants that comes in a huge selection of waist and leg measurements. Leg lengths range from 27 to 33 inches and all the way up to a 58 inch waist – so perfect for the larger gentleman.
“These pants are also ideal for the elderly and the disabled and I have lots of carers who pop in for their clients,” says Lynne. “They come in lots of colours; air force blue, brown, black, navy, stone and grey and I have some great shirts in sizes up to 6XL.”
“We have something for everyone, with lots of young men buying smart pants for interviews and then coming back for tee shirts and jeans.”
“I love working in the market” says Lynne. “Every day is different. There’s always a good atmosphere and we have some great customers.”

The Indoor Market is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9 am - 5 pm.
