Organised by, and in support of Ulverston in Bloom, Ulverston Open Gardens will see 12 gardens open their gates to the public this weekend where you can buy a ticket for just £3 and that will give you access to all of the gardens (children free).
Ford Park has a beautiful walled Victorian Garden to explore. The garden is very peaceful and stimulates all the sense this time of the year.
The Beehive shop will be open and there will be plants, tea, coffee and ice creams on sale too.
And don’t forget to explore the woodland trail along the zigzag path and community orchard while you’re there.
