Although you can still buy your essentials at the meat hall that has remained open throughout lockdown, and several traders also offer click and collect or delivery services through their Facebook pages and individual websites, the main hall in the market has had to be closed to the general public. That’s meant it’s been very difficult to buy from your favourite local traders – until now!
Barrow Virtual Lockdown Market Facebook Group started life as a place where Market Hall Traders could post images, promote their products and sell items over the Christmas Break. This group has now been amended, upgraded and expanded to include all traders and their stock for 2021, bringing Barrow Market to you, in the comfort and warmth of your own home.
