Last week we were thrilled to be invited by Corrie and Co and Blake Henderson Ltd to see how they have transformed the old Wheatsheaf pub into luxury, serviced accommodation.
They say first impressions count, and they certainly created a WOW!
On entering, you are greeted by contemporary brick effect walls, lush new carpets and that lovely ‘just new’ smell, and you feel like you’re walking into a modern swish hotel rather than an old converted public house.
We were given the guided tour by Corrie and Co’s Caroline Metcalfe who showed us 3 stunning double rooms, each individually styled, with stunning decor, beautiful furniture and lovely ensuites. But what really stands out is the quality and the attention to detail, from the cushions on the bed, the fluffy towels, the flat screen TV and wifi, right down to the plug sockets with USB sockets for charging devices.
Once complete, there will be 17 rooms over 3 floors, and on each floor there will be a stunning, contemporary kitchen, all in the same stunning style and quality as the rooms.
The accommodation is more like a hotel than your typical shared accommodation and will give professionals seeking a home from home, whether long term or short term, while working away from home, a comfortable and relaxed place to stay, with the convenience of a hotel, but without the high prices.
Located opposite the Hollywood Retail Park, it’s perfectly situated within walking distance of the main industrial sites for work and also ideally positioned for leisure activities and evening entertainment.
Love the idea of this stunning new accommodation? Then you are going to love the price- with rooms from £35 per night and £160 per week they are sure to be snapped up before the official opening in September.
