You may have seen our 21 Days of Giving Campaign that we launched in December. We asked friends and clients to join in and donate 21 things that would make a Furness family's Christmas a whole lot better, and those who joined us were so generous it was truly humbling.
J F Hornby and Co Chartered Accountants donated their wonderful tote bags for everyone to add their goodies to, 1 item a day for 21 days of December, and we collected 14 very overflowing bags from the following wonderful people and businesses;

Barrow Food Bank were thrilled to receive our overflowing bags of goodies, which included chocolates, toiletries, wine, luxury biscuits and all the extra things we drop into our supermarket trolleys at Christmas without really thinking about it! We spoke to them prior to dropping off the bags, and they explained that as fast as donations were arriving at the centre in Barrow, they were being sent out to families across Furness who were truly in need.
So from us here at thebestof, we'd like to say a BIG Thank You to all you wonderful people who supported us, you really bought to life the true meaning of Christmas – thank you.
