We all love a bit of Bake Off don’t we?
The dedication, the skill, the artistry, the deliciousness – it’s enough to make a grown man drool (and trust me- it often does!)
This weekend sees a bake off with a difference take place at The Raiders Bar in Clive Street, Barrow.
The competition and judging starts at 9.30am on Saturday; with the coffee morning following later on between 10.30am -12.00pm. All funds raised for this event will be donated to Barrow Foodbank and Barrow Raiders Supporters Trust.
To enter the bake off and have a chance at winning the top prize of £50, you need to register at the rugby shop in Scott Street and pay the entrance fee of £5 per cake (max of 2 cakes per person) before Thursday 19th January.
So whether you’re a budding Paul Hollywood or Mary Berry, or if you just want to come along and try any of the cakes on offer, come along and be part of the bake off experience! It’s a great event that deserves a lot of local support.
Donations of non-perishable items are being collected on the day for Barrow Foodbank, so please bring what you can.
