The Lakes International Comic Art Festival returns on the 27th - 29th September
LICAF RETURNs TO BOWNESS-ON-WINDERMERE FROM FRIDAY 27TH – SUNDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2024. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW
Our events will include live draws, interviews, presentations, workshops, exhibitions, book launches, Little LICAF activities, a Comics Marketplace, our new International Comics Rights Market – and provide a chance to get up close to the best comic creators in the world!
Throughout the year, The Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF) delivers a wide range of projects using comics to achieve positive change. Under the title Comics Can Change the World, LICAF is delivering projects in our local community, across our region and country and with partners internationally.
We continue to explore how comics can galvanise efforts to address the climate emergency, how they can play a significant role in education – from primary schools to higher education – and much more.
