Nice food and good service. However, my experience as a vegan was disappointing. There were two breakfast options listed on the menu as 'can be made vegan'. But on enquiry, it turned out that one of these couldn't actually be made vegan. I ordered the other option but to make it vegan they just removed the egg and charged the same price, meaning I paid nearly £9 for mushrooms on toast.
It was a shame as it could've been a great experience with a bit more thoughtfulness.

Thank you so much Amy and Michael for the food you provided for our wedding. The food was delicious, and thank you for making chicken adobo especially for us. Everyone was raving about how good the food was! Definitely would recommend and use again in the future x

First visit to this beautiful restaurant & not disappointed the food was amazing had the Cumbrian seafood 8 course menu was definitely worth going & will be back also very friendly staff

So pleased we made the effort to visit this cafe - been meaning to do for ages. Very pleased with the food, surroundings, decoration and staff and we will go back. Menu a little different - but as we were in time for the pre lunch menu opted for the garlic mushrooms - delicious.

Popped to this park to walk my dog whilst visiting the Lakes for a few days. A simple but pleasant green space. Nice that there are designated areas for dogs off leads / children, so everyone is catered for. Also loved the wild flower section.

Lovely area to walk around, there is a good playground area. The cafe has great food or just coffee. The care closes a 2pm.

We stayed at the White Hart for 5 nights, my wife's mum is from the area so we where looking up ancestors etc.The White Hart team here are brilliant, friendly and go out of their way to help out. Room was cosy with a very comfy bed, the food is brilliant and they don't skimp on portions either from Breakfast to Dinner all home cooked and top notch. Great base to explore the Lakes and nicely away from the main touristy madness. We will be staying again the wife has declared.!
