Certainly worth seeking out the Market Hall in the centre of Ulverston if visiting the area. A wide variety of different stalls, there would seem to be something for almost everyone. Whilst not being the biggest of markets, the hall itself is eye-catching and inviting.

Around Ulverston there are lots of signs encouraging people to shop local. One of the best ways to do this is at the Market Hall where there are a number of stalls selling local produce.

It's in the town centre and just a quick walk from Coronation Hall.

I was last here 30 years ago. Nothing has changed, except perhaps the prices. You can still get a bucket & mop and a home made tea cake, fruit and a sewing kit within six feet of each other. A gem.

What else can I say but, simply amazing. It was that good we went twice. There are many amazing things about the Coronation Hall but on this occasion it was providing the stage and venue for a local amateur dramatic society to show off their skills and they certainly did just that. This was the most professional stage version of the show I have ever seen. It was amazing. It had all the magic of the original film but on stage at our fabulous Coro. Best money we spent all year. More of this please.

We've been here twice in the last week. First Swan Lake to watch extremely talented granddaughter and the entourage, wonderful performance very professional. Then to see the ukulele orchestra of Great Britain, this was thoroughly enjoyable, great music lots of humour and sore hands from clapping. A great old fashioned music hall, on street parking around the venue, volunteers manning a bottle bar inside. A great variety of famous acts and performances now on the schedule and pleased to see that the local populous are supporting this venue well.

The Oyster Band 40th Year anniversary tour. This will be the best night at the Coronation Hall for years. Not to be missed.

My first visit to the Coronation Hall. A splendid venue, nicely renovated. Seating on the flat in the stalls and seating not overly comfortable but adequate. The queue to enter needs serious review. Everyone had tickets to the event on 18.10.2019, just one door open and congestion once inside. Poor. Not enough staff ? The queue outside snaked right round the corner. If that normal, then its poor. My initial reaction was they must be searching handbags and coats, but upon entering, they didn't. I will return for another performance of something else but the staffing and admission of getting the audience in needs serious review. Clean toilets, clean bar and pleasant enough staff that could be seen. What I saw I thought was poor value for £24 as the show lasted just 1 hr 30 mins. It was too short.
