I am so pleased I decided to contact Kelly Hopkins to ask about my son trying some classes out at NHAD. From that first day Joe has loved every minute of it, his love for dance and performing has grown hugely and his confidence amazes me, this is due to the brilliant skills he has learnt from Kelly and the other brilliant teachers at NHAD, Katy and Laura-Jane. The support from Kelly, the teachers and all of Joe's fellow dance friends is outstanding, he says they are like his second family. She has so many opportunities as a dancer, dancing at the Royal Albert Hall in London, auditioning for pantomimes, performing in festivals and competitions and being able to show case her talents in the school's dance shows. The school boasts a friendly, caring atmosphere and the principal and school dance teachers are supportive, friendly, caring and will help the dancers achieve their goals and have fun! My daughter started and needed lots of nurturing and support and I am very grateful to the teachers for the growth in her abilities and self- esteem. There is an ethos of team work and strong morals than run from the top throughout the academy to the children. The choice of classes is fantastic and the opportunities for development are also great. My daughter attends classes with kelly and Katie. I travel from Alton as I feel this dance school is the best in my area. Kelly is an extremely professional teacher who tends to each child's needs and help to get the best out of them. I have always felt very welcome within the school, everyone is very friendly and the older children always look out for the younger ones! Kelly is extremely helpful and willing to help any student who wishes to continue into the dance world. I thoroughly recommend NHAD. Wonderful dance school.
