This September will see the return of Basingstoke Green Week. Now in its fourth year, the week celebrates all that is green with a showcase of environmentally friendly events and activities from Saturday 17th September to Sunday 25th September.
This year will see Festival Place supporting the week with a host of activities, including a special family friendly lighting event on Tuesday 20th September and Wednesday 21st September from 10am – 6pm.
Shining a light on energy and cost efficient lighting solutions, experts will be in Festival Place showcasing their industry-leading products and how best to introduce these into everyday life.
Speaking about the event, Centre Director at Festival Place, Steven Connolly, said: “We are delighted to be getting involved with Green Week for another year. Caring for the environment is a key part of Festival Place’s ethos and we are particularly passionate about educating the public on how they can be more sustainable whilst caring for their surroundings. ”
