Friday 21st October saw Basingstoke shopping centre, Festival Place, host the first annual Gold Retailer Awards ceremony.
Taking place at Vue Cinema, the event saw the retailers of Festival Place honoured with a range of awards voted for entirely by Festival Place customers.
The main prize of the event, Store of the Year, for which all retailers and food outlets were eligible, went to leading games retailer, Game. Another big winner was Basingstoke Sports Centre which was recognised with the coveted Service with a Smile Award.
Talking about the event, Centre Director at Festival Place, Steven Connolly, said: “We are delighted with the success of the first ever Festival Place Retailer Gold Awards. It was fantastic to give customers the chance to recognise the hard work of their favourite retailers.”
