Festival Place, Basingstoke combines stylish malls with a lively all-day food offer from leading restaurants which adds to the exciting, family friendly environment.
The restaurants and cinema offer something for everyone, whether you are looking for a lunchtime shopping break, a business lunch or an evening out.
‘Green shopping centre’
Festival Place has been working hard over the last few years to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our large glass roofs are ideal for collecting rain water which is cleaned and used to top up the water features in Festival Square, this saves 100,000 litres of water per month. Working closely with the Carbon Trust, we have put timers on lights and installed photo-sensitive switches which turn off the lights when the sun shines. With these initiatives and by swapping to green energy electrical suppliers, we have saved 622 tonnes of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere every year. Please help us to reduce our carbon footprint by using one of our ‘bags for life’, available from the information desk.
Whether you live in the Basingstoke area or are just visiting, Festival Place is THE place to go. Visit our website at www.festivalplace.co.uk for opening hours and more details.
