Family Festival at the Rec:
Join Bath Rugby at the Recreation Ground on Saturday 21st April as we host our Family Festival ahead of our last home game of the Aviva Premiership season against London Wasps, kick-off 2.15pm.
There will be a variety of activities and live music taking place on the outfield throughout the day, including a very special appearance from Peppa Pig!
Entry to the Family Festival is free and open to all, whether you are attending the match in the afternoon or not. Gates open at 11.00am, where a variety of interactive activities will be dotted around the outfield for the kids to burn off a bit of energy!
Throughout the morning you will have the chance to test yourself on an Army obstacle course and paintball range or face your fears at the Bristol Zoo ‘Mini-beast’ display! We will also be joined by the Fitkid Sports day races and a Circus Tutor to teach you how to juggle and ride a unicycle!
All of the activities will also be enjoyed by the one and only Peppa Pig and you will have the opportunity to meet and have a picture with her at various times throughout the morning.
Bath Rugby players will be wandering around the outfield throughout the morning, prior to kick off, to mingle with fans, sign autographs and compete against supporters as we welcome the return of the Aviva Arena Rugby Zone.
Tickets will need to be purchased from the Ticket Office to gain entry into the game between Bath Rugby and London Wasps, kicking off at 2.15pm.
After the match, once the players have warmed down and re-fuelled, they will be making their way over to the outfield to join in the festivities from 4.15pm. Live music will be played on the stage as soon as the game finishes and we welcome back to the Rec musicians Ryan Inglis and Rainy and the Dust who will perform right through until 8:00pm
At 5:30pm, members of the matchday squad will be taking part in a Q and A session on the main stage, whilst the rest will be available to sign autographs and chat with fans once again, giving everyone the chance to meet and greet the boys.
Whether or not you’re planning to attend the rugby in the afternoon, the Family Festival promises to be a great day for all.
